We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chinese Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in authentic Chinese cuisine, including regional specialties, wok techniques, sauces, soups, and dim sum. The chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes, including appetizers, mains, noodles, rice, soups, and dim sum.
Master wok cooking techniques, stir-frying, steaming, braising, and roasting.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning of all dishes.
Develop new recipes and seasonal menus in line with customer preferences and trends.
Supervise and train kitchen staff on Chinese cooking techniques and food preparation.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the kitchen according to food safety standards.
Monitor inventory, order supplies, and minimize food wastage.
Collaborate with the Head Chef and management to deliver an excellent dining experience.
Proven experience as a Chinese Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setup.
Strong knowledge of traditional Chinese cuisine and modern variations.
Expertise in wok cooking, steaming, and sauce preparation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
Knowledge of kitchen safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
Strong leadership, teamwork, and time management skills.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.
