We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Commis II Chef to join our culinary team. As a Commis II, you will assist in the preparation and cooking of food under the supervision of senior chefs. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene, helping with stock rotation, and consistently delivering excellent food quality.
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food items in accordance with company standards.
Support the Commis I and Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.
Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation.
Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the Head Chef.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned kitchen stations.
Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures.
Rotate stock items as per established procedures.
Comply with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
Assist with inventory and stock management as needed.
Carry out any other duties assigned by the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar role (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
Culinary degree or certificate from a recognized institution is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety, and hygiene practices.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
