We are looking for a Commi 2 to join our team at Mr Chows and prepare delicious meals for the customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Commis I, or other senior chefs in food preparation and basic cooking tasks.

• Follow kitchen procedures and recipes as directed.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

• Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, peeling, and chopping vegetables, fruits, or meats as required.

• Ensure that food items are properly stored and labeled to maintain freshness and prevent contamination.

• Support the team in managing kitchen inventory and inform seniors when stock is low.

• Comply with hygiene, health, and safety regulations at all times.

• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries appropriately.

Job Requirements:

Familiarity with cooking techniques (advance & non-traditional), recipes, and sanitation regulations are ideal for the position. A culinary school diploma or certification in a similar field is a plus.
