To support the kitchen team in preparing and presenting authentic Indian and Chinese dishes while maintaining quality, consistency, and hygiene standards at Red Thread Hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present Indian and Chinese dishes as per standard recipes and chef’s instructions.
Assist in both Indian/Chinese sections and Breakfast preparation
Ensure taste, texture, and presentation meet hotel standards.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in assigned work areas.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitor and minimize food wastage.
Support Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in smooth kitchen operations.
Ensure stock rotation and inform seniors about shortages or requirements.
Adapt to menu changes and seasonal demands for both cuisines.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma / Certificate in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management.
1–2 years of relevant experience in Indian and/or Chinese kitchens.
Knowledge of Indian spices, curries, tandoor operations, and Chinese wok cooking.
Ability to follow recipes and plating standards accurately.
Team player with discipline and strong work ethics.
Good understanding of food hygiene, HACCP, and safety practices.
