About the Role:

We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Commi II Chef to join our kitchen team at Urban Café. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a professional kitchen and a passion for preparing high-quality dishes in their respective cuisine (Continental / Chinese / Indian Punjabi).

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chef in daily kitchen operations.

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes as per Urban Café standards.

• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards are maintained at all times.

• Handle ingredients and equipment with care.

• Maintain proper stock rotation and assist with inventory.

• Support the team during busy hours and ensure timely service.

• Follow instructions and recipes accurately to maintain consistency.

• Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Commi II or equivalent position.

  • Familiarity with Continental / Chinese / Indian Punjabi cuisine (depending on role).

  • Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.

  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
