Job Description: Chef

We are on the lookout for a talented and innovative Chef to join our team in crafting exceptional culinary experiences. This role requires a creative individual passionate about food, presentation, and team-building. The ideal candidate will not only help us refine our existing offerings but also lead the charge in developing exciting new dishes. This is a part-time role with the potential to grow into a full-time position within 3 to 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

Menu Standardization:
-Audit and refine existing recipes to ensure consistency in taste and quality.
-Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for food preparation and delivery.
-Compile recipe booklets with detailed instructions for easy execution by the team.
Dish Presentation
-Enhance the visual appeal and presentation of dishes across the menu.
-Provide creative input on plating techniques to ensure dishes look as good as they taste.

Recipe Development:
-Design and develop new recipes, focusing on sandwiches, wraps, and dishes inspired by continental, Lebanese, and Mediterranean cuisines.
-Experiment with fresh ingredients and innovative flavor combinations to expand our menu offerings.
-Keep an eye on market trends and customer preferences to introduce on-trend dishes.

Team Training:
-Train kitchen staff on executing recipes with precision and maintaining consistency.
Develop a training module covering SOPs, food safety standards, and hygiene practices.
-Conduct workshops on customer service, ensuring the kitchen team understands the importance of the dining experience.

Hygiene and Compliance:
-Monitor and enforce strict hygiene and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
-Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.

Travel: The chef must be able to travel to our location in Baner, Pune.

Experience:
-Proven track record in culinary arts, with expertise in continental, Lebanese, and Mediterranean cuisines.
-Experience in menu standardization, team training, and recipe development.
Skills
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to implement and monitor SOPs.
-Creative flair for developing innovative dishes and improving presentation.
-Excellent communication skills, both for training the team and coordinating with management.
-A keen understanding of hygiene and food safety protocols.
-Preferably proficient in English speaking

Working hours: 9 hour shift
Working days: 6 days a week
Team size - 8 to 10
Salary - 20 K to 30 K per month
