Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate South Indian Chef who can bring authentic taste and creativity to our kitchen. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing various dosa batters, chutneys, sambhar, and other signature South Indian dishes while maintaining top-notch hygiene and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide range of South Indian dishes (Dosa, Idli, Vada, Uttapam, etc.)

• Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all dishes

• Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety standards are strictly followed

• Manage inventory, order raw materials, and minimize food wastage

• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations

• Innovate and introduce new dishes or variations periodically

• Supervise kitchen helpers and maintain an organized work environment

Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a South Indian Chef or Cook

• Strong knowledge of traditional South Indian cuisine and ingredients

• Ability to work efficiently during rush hours

• Maintain a clean and disciplined kitchen

• Team player with good communication skills

• Flexibility to work in shifts (morning/evening)
