We are looking for a skilled and passionate All-Rounder Chef to join our vegetarian restaurant. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing a wide range of vegetarian dishes—from South Indian and North Indian to Chinese and Continental—while maintaining quality, taste, and hygiene standards.
Prepare and cook a variety of pure vegetarian dishes as per menu and daily specials.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
Assist in menu planning and recipe development.
Manage kitchen inventory and coordinate with management for stock and supplies.
Supervise and guide kitchen assistants or helpers.
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
Work efficiently during busy hours and ensure timely service.
Proven experience as an all-rounder or multi-cuisine chef in a vegetarian kitchen.
Knowledge of Indian, Chinese, and Continental vegetarian dishes.
Strong time management and multitasking skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Basic knowledge of kitchen inventory and food cost control.
