Perform keyword research and incorporate relevant keywords with appropriate density, keyword proximity, and prominence to boost search rankings.
Optimize metadata (titles, meta descriptions), headers (H1/H2/H3…), and internal linking to align with SEO best practices.
Collaborate with SEO, marketing, design or product teams to align content with brand voice, marketing goals, and target audience.
Conduct research on industry-relevant topics to ensure accuracy, relevance and value in content.
Edit, proofread and polish content before publication; ensure consistency in tone, style and quality across content.
Manage multiple writing assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain an editorial calendar if required.
Optionally: Update and refresh existing content for SEO improvements (content audits, optimizations) — especially valuable if you maintain evergreen content.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass-Media, Marketing, Communications, or related field. A
1–2 years (or similar) of experience in content writing / SEO content writing / digital content creation.
Strong command of English — writing, grammar, editing, clarity and readability.
Basic understanding of SEO principles (keyword research, on-page optimization, metadata, internal linking, readability, content structure) and a willingness to learn and grow in SEO.
Familiarity with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress, Drupal, Joomla) or willingness to learn.
Ability to research topics, organize information, and write original, engaging and accurate content. O
