A Facility Attendant in a parking setting, also known as a Parking Attendant or Car Park Attendant, is responsible for managing the parking facility, ensuring smooth traffic flow, and assisting customers with parking-related needs. They handle ticketing, monitor parking spaces, and provide customer service, while also maintaining the cleanliness and security of the parking area. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Directing and guiding drivers: Assisting drivers with finding parking spaces, using hand signals or other methods as needed. 

• Monitoring parking lot activity: Observing vehicles and surroundings, ensuring safety and security, and reporting any issues. 

• Maintaining cleanliness: Keeping the parking area tidy, collecting trash, and ensuring a safe environment for customers. 

• Providing customer service: Answering customer inquiries, resolving parking issues, and offering assistance as needed. 

• Enforcing parking regulations: Ensuring compliance with parking rules and regulations, and issuing warnings or citations when necessary.

• Collecting parking fees: Handling payments, issuing tickets or passes, and providing change. 

• Operating equipment: Using equipment such as boom gates, ticket machines, and CCTV systems. 

• Managing flow of traffic: Ensuring efficient movement of vehicles in and out of the parking facility.
