We are seeking an experienced Retail Cashier with 2–4 years of proven experience in handling billing operations, preferably within the Jewellery and Gems industry. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and adept at managing billing accuracy, customer interactions, and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accurate billing and cash handling processes, ensuring compliance with SOPs and company policies.
Handle POS operations, generate bills, and maintain proper payment receipts and reports.
Resolve escalated customer queries/issues with professionalism and maintain customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with store staff and support smooth daily store operations.
Maintain proper records of transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
Take initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach in day-to-day cashiering activities.
Ensure excellent customer service during billing and checkout to enhance the overall shopping experience.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 2–4 years as a Cashier, preferably in the Jewellery & Gems Industry.
Strong knowledge of billing procedures, POS systems, and cash management.
Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong communication, customer-handling, and team coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
High attention to detail, integrity, and trustworthiness.
