The Bank Operations Executive is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day banking operations, maintaining compliance with banking regulations, and delivering excellent customer service. The role involves managing back-office activities, processing transactions, and coordinating with internal teams to support branch and organizational objectives.
Process customer transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and cheque clearances accurately and efficiently.
Maintain and update customer records in the bank’s system while ensuring data confidentiality.
Assist in opening new accounts, processing loan applications, and verifying KYC (Know Your Customer) documentation.
Monitor daily branch operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and bank policies.
Reconcile financial records, prepare reports, and support audits or inspections.
Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, providing timely resolution or escalation when necessary.
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., compliance, credit, IT) to resolve operational issues.
Support branch-level sales and service initiatives as required.
Contribute to process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
0–3 years of experience in banking operations or a related field (freshers with internships may also apply).
Strong understanding of banking products, services, and regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office and banking software.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
High attention to detail, integrity, and a customer-centric mindset.
