Tender Executive

Role Overview:

The Tender Executive will be responsible for managing the entire tendering process, from identifying opportunities to preparing, submitting, and following up on tenders, bids, and proposals. The role requires excellent coordination, documentation, compliance understanding, and communication skills to ensure timely and accurate tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and track tender opportunities from government portals, private organizations, and online platforms.

• Study and analyze tender documents, eligibility criteria, terms, and conditions.

• Prepare, compile, and submit pre-qualification documents, technical bids, and financial bids.

• Coordinate with internal teams (finance, legal, operations, technical) to gather required documents and inputs.

• Ensure compliance with all requirements before submission.

• Maintain and update tender trackers, bid documents, and databases.

• Follow up on submitted tenders, clarifications, and results.

• Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and supporting sales documentation.

• Handle tender-related queries, documentation, and contract agreements.

• Maintain strong relations with vendors, consultants, and tender authorities.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of tendering processes and government e-procurement portals (GeM, CPP, etc.).

• Excellent drafting, documentation, and MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tenders simultaneously.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Knowledge of commercial and financial terms related to tenders.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in tendering, bidding, or contracts management (freshers with good knowledge of tender processes can also be considered).

• Familiarity with government portals, e-procurement platforms, and online bidding will be an advantage.

Compensation:

As per industry standards and candidate’s experience.
