We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Order Processing & Supply Chain Specialist to manage end-to-end order processing, purchase order creation, logistics coordination, and vendor management. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient operations, timely deliveries, and strong supplier relationships to support our dynamic business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Order Processing:
o Manage and process customer orders accurately from receipt to fulfilment.
o Monitor order status, ensure timely processing, and resolve any discrepancies.
o Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth order flow.
• Purchase Order Creation:
o Generate and manage purchase orders (POs) based on inventory requirements and business needs.
o Verify PO accuracy, including pricing, quantities, and supplier details.
o Track and follow up on POs to ensure timely deliveries.
• Logistics Coordination:
o Oversee logistics operations, including shipping, tracking, and delivery schedules.
o Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouses to optimize supply chain efficiency.
o Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Vendor Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
o Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate terms, and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
o Maintain accurate vendor records and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in order processing, supply chain, logistics, or vendor management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Tally or Zoho Books).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
