Senior Purchase Executive

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to join our team at Mutha Writing Instruments. The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹20000 - ₹25000 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors.

• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate terms of purchase (price, delivery, credit, etc.).

• Issue purchase orders (POs) and follow up to ensure timely delivery.

• Maintain and update supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the stores/warehouse to avoid stock-outs or excess stock.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.

• Coordinate with internal departments (production, accounts, stores, quality control) for smooth procurement operations.

• Resolve supplier complaints and supply-related issues.

• Prepare reports on procurement, pricing trends, and cost analysis.

• Assist in developing and implementing purchasing strategies.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 1 - 3 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field.
