Job Title: Assistant Manager-Purchase
Location: Palwal, Haryana
Educational Qualification: Any Bachelor’s degree (preferably in supply chain management,
Logistics, or business administration)
Experience: 4-8 years
· Supplier Identification: Identifying potential suppliers and evaluating their products and services.
· Request for Quotations (RFQs): Send out RFQs to suppliers and gather responses for comparison.
Order Placement: Help in placing orders with selected suppliers and ensure that purchase orders are issued accurately.
· Vendor Relations: Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and develop relationships with new suppliers.
· Negotiation: Assist in negotiating terms of contracts, including prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
· Performance Monitoring: Monitor supplier performance, including quality, delivery times, and service levels.
· Stock Levels: Monitor inventory levels to ensure that necessary materials and products are available without overstocking.
· Reorder Points: Assist in setting reorder points and ensuring timely replenishment of stock.
Inventory Records: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, orders, and deliveries.
· Order Processing: Process purchase orders and ensure they are sent to suppliers in a timely manner.
· Order Tracking: Track the status of orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
· Discrepancy Resolution: Handle any discrepancies between orders and deliveries, such as shortages or damaged goods.
· Cost Analysis: Assist in analyzing costs to ensure purchases are made within budget and at the best possible prices.
· Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies in the procurement process.
· Budget Adherence: Ensure that all purchasing activities adhere to the organization's budgetary constraints.
· Policy Adherence: Ensure all procurement activities comply with the organization's policies and procedures.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of all purchases, contracts, and supplier interactions.
