Material & Inventory Control
Ensure timely procurement of construction materials such as cement, steel, tiles, electrical fittings, plumbing, etc.
Coordinate with the site team for material delivery and ensure minimum stock levels are maintained.
Verify material quality and specifications as per project and architect requirements.
Budgeting & Cost Control
Prepare purchase budgets and ensure all purchases are within approved cost limits.
Maintain records of purchase orders, quotations, and supplier payments for audit and cost analysis.
Implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.
Coordination & Documentation
Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Architects, and Accounts for material approvals and payments.
Enthe sure all procurement documentation (POs, contracts, GRNs, etc.) is accurate and updated.
Handle vendor bills, ensure timely payment processing, and maintain compliance with company policies.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure that all materials meet company and regulatory standards.
Follow statutory and legal guidelines related to procurement and supplier contracts.
Support internal and external audits related to purchase and material management.
Market Research & Benchmarking
Stay updated with market trends, price fluctuations, and new product innovations.
Benchmark suppliers and materials to maintain competitive pricing.
Team Management
Supervise and guide the purchase team for smooth operations.
Allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to timelines.
