Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement of materials, components, and services necessary for solar project execution. The ideal candidate will ensure timely procurement, cost-efficiency, and adherence to quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.

• Request quotations, negotiate prices, and prepare comparative statements.

• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain accurate records.

• Follow up on order status, delivery schedules, and logistics.

• Ensure materials meet company quality and technical standards.

• Coordinate with store, finance, and project teams to manage inventory and procurement planning.

• Maintain vendor databases and ensure timely payments after verification.

• Prepare purchase reports and assist in audits or compliance checks.

• Track market trends and suggest cost-saving procurement strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in a procurement or purchase role (solar or electrical industry preferred).

• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic ERP systems.

• Knowledge of solar materials (modules, inverters, structures, etc.) is an added advantage.
