Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive with 1–2 years of experience to
manage the end-to-end procurement process. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring
timely acquisition of quality materials at the best possible price while maintaining supplier
relationships and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Procurement Planning
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with business goals.
• Forecast material requirements based on production and sales trends.
• Create and manage procurement budgets to optimize costs.
• Analyze market dynamics to identify opportunities and risks in the supply chain.
2. Supplier Relationship Management
• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor supplier performance regularly based on quality, delivery timelines, and compliance
standards.
• Resolve disputes and manage supplier-related issues efficiently.
3. Cost Management and Optimization
• Monitor procurement costs and identify potential savings without compromising on quality.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and maintain documentation of pricing, discounts, and
historical data.
• Generate periodic reports for senior management on spending, cost savings, and vendor
performance.
4. Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination
• Coordinate with inventory and production departments to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Track inventory usage and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stock-outs or excess
inventory.
• Assist in implementing inventory control systems and procedures to increase accuracy and
efficiency.
• Optimize lead times and streamline the procurement process.
5. Compliance and Risk Management
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and relevant statutory requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date records of purchase orders, supplier agreements, and transaction
histories.
• Proactively manage risks related to supplier performance, price fluctuations, and delivery
issues.
• Maintain ethical sourcing practices and adhere to quality standards.
Required Skills
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
