Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers; maintain relationships with existing vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of products.
Procurement Process: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, sourcing, negotiation, purchase order creation, and order tracking.
Cost Analysis: Conduct market research to assess pricing trends and negotiate favourable terms to achieve cost savings.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with inventory management to prevent stock outs or excess inventory.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier contracts, and pricing agreements in compliance with company policies.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as finance, production, and quality assurance to align purchasing strategies with organizational goals.
Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with legal and ethical standards, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing,
Skills:
Strong negotiation skills.
Microsoft Office.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
