Job Title: Purchase Executive

Location: Mahape MIDC, Navi Mumbai
Department: Purchase & Procurement
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Reporting To: HOD / Plant Head

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to handle end-to-end procurement activities for materials and components used in manufacturing. The role involves vendor coordination, price negotiation, purchase order processing, and ensuring timely material availability for production.

Requirements

• Qualification: B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Experience: 1–3 years in purchase or procurement (preferably in manufacturing or engineering industries)

• Skills:

  • Knowledge of procurement processes and local vendor market

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word)

  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities

  • Understanding of logistics and documentation processes

  • Team-oriented with good time management and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain vendor quotations and negotiate pricing, delivery, and payment terms.

• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies.

• Maintain records of orders, invoices, and vendor communications.

• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery and quality compliance.

• Coordinate with stores, quality, and accounts teams for seamless material flow.

• Source and evaluate new vendors based on quality, pricing, and reliability.

• Assist in maintaining optimum inventory and preparing purchase reports.
