The Purchase & Inside Sales Executive is a dual-role position responsible for managing procurement activities and supporting inside sales operations. This role ensures timely sourcing of materials for production while also assisting the sales team in order processing, customer communication, and coordination. It plays a key role in maintaining supply continuity and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Source and procure raw materials, components, tools, and consumables required for manufacturing.
Evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing, and place purchase orders.
Track delivery schedules and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely supply.
Maintain records of purchases, supplier contracts, and pricing data.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores and production to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
Handle customer inquiries via email, phone, or CRM system.
Prepare and send quotations to customers in coordination with the sales team.
Process customer orders and coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain customer records, sales data, and track open orders and pending deliveries.
Assist in generating sales reports and follow up with clients for payments or feedback.
Liaise between suppliers, internal departments (production, stores, finance), and customers.
Coordinate with logistics and shipping for incoming and outgoing goods.
Assist in resolving delivery issues, quality complaints, or other post-order problems.
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Attention to detail and multitasking ability
Knowledge of ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Tally, Zoho, etc.)
Good understanding of supply chain and sales processes
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Customer-focused mindset with strong follow-up skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Diploma in Materials Management / Sales & Marketing (preferred)
2–4 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Familiarity with industrial products or manufacturing processes (preferred)
Fluency in local language and English (written & spoken)
