The Field Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at various field sites, ensuring that projects or services are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards. This role involves managing field staff, coordinating logistics, optimizing processes, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Supervise and coordinate all field activities and operations across assigned sites or regions.
Lead, train, and manage field teams to meet performance, safety, and quality standards.
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and service delivery.
Monitor field performance metrics and prepare operational reports for senior management.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal regulations.
Coordinate with other departments (HR, logistics, finance, etc.) to support field operations.
Manage resource allocation (personnel, equipment, materials) based on project requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact between field teams and headquarters.
Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in field operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to travel frequently to field sites.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic familiarity with operations or field management software.
Industry-specific experience (e.g., telecommunications, logistics, construction, utilities, oil & gas).
Knowledge of safety standards and field protocols (e.g., OSHA).
Experience with project management tools and ERP systems.
