Job Summary:
The Logistic Manager will oversee the end-to-end logistics operations of the company, ensuring efficient transportation, storage, and distribution of goods. The role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising all logistics activities while optimizing costs and ensuring timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Transportation Management:
Coordinate and manage fleet operations, including loading and unloading of goods.
Schedule and monitor the movement of vehicles to ensure timely deliveries.
Inventory & Warehouse Management:
Oversee inventory control and storage management in warehouses.
Maintain accurate stock records and ensure minimal loss/damage.
Team Management:
Supervise warehouse staff, drivers, and support teams.
Conduct training and performance evaluations to maintain productivity.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and vendors for smooth operations.
Resolve operational issues and ensure compliance with company policies.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly logistics reports.
Maintain records of shipments, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance.
Operational Optimization:
Plan routes and optimize logistics processes to reduce costs.
Implement strategies for process improvement and efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
3–8 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
Knowledge of transportation and warehouse management systems.
