An MIS Officer is responsible for managing, analyzing, and maintaining the organization’s information systems. The role ensures accurate data collection, system security, reporting, and smooth functioning of IT-based operations to support management decision-making.
Manage and maintain databases, information systems, and software applications.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data for management reports.
Develop automated dashboards, summaries, and reports for timely decision-making.
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with IT teams for solutions.
Ensure data accuracy, privacy, and security.
Maintain backup systems and disaster recovery processes.
Train staff on MIS tools and software.
Monitor system performance and implement improvements.
Assist management in planning and implementing new information systems.
Strong IT and database management knowledge
