We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Document Verification Officer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to review, validate, and verify various types of documents to ensure authenticity, accuracy, and compliance with organizational or regulatory standards.
Examine and verify documents such as IDs, certificates, legal papers, financial statements, and applications.
Ensure submitted documents meet required standards and are free from errors or forgeries.
Cross-check information with internal systems, databases, or third-party sources.
Communicate with clients, customers, or departments to request missing or additional information.
Maintain detailed and organized records of verified documents.
Report any discrepancies, fraudulent activity, or non-compliance issues.
Adhere to company policies, legal regulations, and data privacy standards.
Support onboarding, compliance, or audit teams with document-related tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
Previous experience in document verification, administration, compliance, or data entry preferred.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or document management systems.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
