The Document Verification Executive is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and validating various types of documents submitted by clients, customers, or employees. This role ensures that all information is accurate, complete, and complies with the company’s policies and regulatory requirements.
Examine and verify submitted documents (e.g., IDs, certificates, address proofs, application forms) for authenticity and accuracy.
Cross-check document information against databases or third-party verification sources.
Ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards and company policies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all verification activities.
Flag and report any discrepancies or fraudulent documents to the appropriate team.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., customer service, HR, compliance) for document-related queries.
Use document management systems and tools to log and track verification tasks.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Education: High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Experience: 0–2 years in document verification, data entry, customer support, or a similar administrative role
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with basic computer applications (MS Office, email, scanning tools)
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Knowledge of fraud detection or KYC (Know Your Customer) processes is a plus
Experience with digital document verification tools or platforms
Background in finance, telecom, HR, or e-commerce sectors
Knowledge of local and international document standards (e.g., passports, licenses)
Office-based or hybrid (depending on the company)
May require shift work if operating on a 24/7 basis
