Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Data Entry Operator cum Supervisor for our Knitting and Warping Division. The ideal candidate should possess strong data entry skills along with hands-on supervisory experience in a textile production environment. This role involves maintaining accurate production records while also overseeing daily operations on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry Duties:

• Enter and manage daily production data for knitting and warping machines.

• Maintain logs for fabric types, lot numbers, machine settings, operator performance, and output.

• Generate and share production and shift reports with management.

• Track material inward/outward entries and inventory used per batch.

• Ensure data accuracy in ERP systems or production software.

Supervisory Duties:

• Monitor daily operations on the knitting/wrapping shop floor.

• Coordinate with machine operators and shift staff to maintain smooth workflow.

• Ensure adherence to production targets and quality parameters.

• Assist in planning and job allocation for machines and manpower.

• Communicate effectively with the maintenance and quality teams for any issues.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in a textile knitting or warping unit.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, or ERP software.

• Strong typing speed with excellent accuracy in data entry.

• Basic knowledge of machine operations in knitting/warping.

• Good communication and team management skills.

• Ability to prepare shift schedules and maintain production discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Textile Technology or relevant field.

• Prior experience handling both data entry and shop floor supervision.

• Familiarity with production KPIs and reporting tools.
