About the Role

Ramaiah Hospital is implementing a new Hospital Information System (HIS) to streamline patient care, clinical workflows, and administrative efficiency. As an Application Data Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and consistent master data management during the rollout phase. This entry-level position is ideal for fresh graduates who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to supporting healthcare digitization.

Key Responsibilities

•            Enter, validate, and update master data records (patients, doctors, departments, services, billing codes, etc.) in the HIS.

•            Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across modules.

•            Support migration of legacy data into the new HIS platform.

•            Collaborate with IT and hospital administration teams to maintain standardized data formats.

•            Generate basic reports and logs to track data entry progress.

•            Adhere to hospital data security, confidentiality, and compliance protocols.

Required Skills & Competencies

•            Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

•            Basic computer literacy (MS Office, spreadsheets, typing skills).

•            Good communication skills to coordinate with clinical and administrative staff.

•            Discipline in following standard operating procedures (SOPs).

•            Commitment to patient data confidentiality and ethical handling of information.
