Job Title: Data Entry Clerk / Data Entry Operator
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerk to accurately input, update, and maintain data in our systems and databases. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Enter and update data into databases, spreadsheets, and systems accurately and efficiently.
Verify data for accuracy and completeness before entry.
Maintain and organize electronic and paper files.
Review data for errors or deficiencies and correct any incompatibilities.
Prepare and sort documents for data entry.
Generate reports and retrieve data as requested.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Office Administration or Data Entry is a plus.
Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data entry software.
Fast typing speed with excellent accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
