Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Architect to support our architectural team in the planning, design, and execution of various projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, creativity, and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, renderings, and presentations.
• Support the design team in developing concepts and translating them into functional designs.
• Prepare and revise construction documents, plans, and specifications using CAD and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Conduct site visits and surveys, documenting existing conditions.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders as directed.
• Assist in project research, code compliance checks, and materials selection.
• Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and team discussions.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 0–3 years of professional experience in an architectural firm.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Basic knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction processes.
• Strong design and visualization skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to various phases of the design process.
• Portfolio of work demonstrating design capabilities (required).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with sustainable design principles and LEED standards.
• Familiarity with 3D rendering software (e.g., Lumion, Enscape, Rhino).
• Working toward licensure (e.g., completing AXP hours).
