Job Summary:
The Site Supervisor for Construction and Interiors will oversee and coordinate all on-site activities related to the project. This role ensures that while adhering to project timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and coordinate on-site execution of projects, ensuring work aligns with approved drawings and specifications.
· Ensure all works meet design specifications, guidelines, and quality standards.
· Work closely with contractors, designers, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery and installation.
· Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress and quality of installations, finishes, and materials used.
· Manage site labour, equipment, and materials to optimize workflow and minimize delays.
· Coordinate with concerned teams for timely availability of materials and fixtures.
· Verify BOQ against material received and track site inventory efficiently.
Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly or escalate to project managers when needed to avoid project delays.
Submitting Daily Progress Report.
· Maintain site records including labour attendance, material delivery, and work logs.
· Ensure proper documentation of work progress, site conditions, and any changes to the scope.
· Enforce health and safety standards on-site during all phases of project construction and installation.
· Identify potential risks and report immediately.
· Coordinate and prepare handover documentation
Requirements:
• Experience in supervising construction, interior or similar projects.
• Good understanding of construction, interior finishes, carpentry, electrical fixtures, plumbing fitting etc.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural and interior design drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and ensure work quality.
• Familiarity with safety standards and on-site regulations.
• Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to delays and challenges.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline.
• 2 to 8 years of hands-on experience in site supervision
