Job Brief:
The Jr. Interior Designer will assist the Senior Interior Designer in managing multiple ongoing interior design projects. The role includes conceptual development, preparing presentations, design development in 2D and 3D, material selection, and site supervision. The ideal candidate should possess strong design sense, good visualization skills, and the ability to support end-to-end interior project execution while maintaining quality and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Handling: Support the Senior Interior Designer in managing 2–3 interior projects simultaneously, ensuring smooth coordination and timely progress.
Conceptualization & Presentation: Contribute to design conceptualization and prepare attractive, detailed client presentations and proposal decks.
Planning & Development: Develop schematic layouts and progress design into detailed 2D drawings and 3D visualization models.
Material Selection: Assist in selecting, evaluating, and finalizing materials, finishes, fabrics, and fixtures; prepare mood boards and sample presentations.
Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings, discussions, and design reviews, ensuring clear communication of ideas and options.
Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits for supervision, quality checks, and ensuring adherence to design details and execution standards.
Coordination: Work closely with vendors, contractors, consultants, and internal teams for seamless project execution.
Skills & Qualifications:
AutoCAD: Strong drafting skills for plans, elevations, and detailed interior drawings.
SketchUp: Ability to develop 3D models for concept visualization and design presentation.
D5 / Enscape: Capable of creating high-quality renders, walkthroughs, and realistic visual outputs.
MS Office: Good command over Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for documentation, presentations, and schedules.
AI Tools: Familiarity with AI-based visualization, ideation, and workflow enhancement tools
