The Interior Design Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the design team by managing project timelines, coordinating with vendors and contractors, ensuring design specifications are met, and maintaining communication between internal teams and clients. This role bridges the gap between design intent and execution, ensuring that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
Coordinate with clients, vendors, site teams, and consultants to facilitate smooth project execution.
Assist designers in developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
Prepare and review presentations, drawings, mood boards, and material samples.
Source materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures as per project requirements.
Track procurement timelines and coordinate deliveries with the site team.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure design implementation aligns with approved plans.
Maintain project documentation including minutes of meetings, material lists, and vendor quotes.
Support the preparation of BOQs, cost estimates, and project reports.
Ensure quality control and adherence to design standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with 3D visualizers, draftsmen, and contractors to translate concepts into execution-ready details.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in interior design coordination or project execution.
Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and interior detailing.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, SketchUp (preferred), and project management tools.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and handle multiple ongoing projects.
Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
Site supervision and on-site issue resolution experience.
Strong eye for design aesthetics and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
