Key Responsibilities:

5. Material Selection and Sourcing:

   • Ensure that all selected materials align with manufacturing capabilities and timelines.

6. Budget Management:

   • Develop cost estimates for interior projects, including materials, labour, and project timelines.

   • Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to the approved budget.

7. Team Leadership and Training:

   • Mentor junior designers and interns, providing guidance on design principles, software, and best practices.

   • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment within the design and manufacturing teams.

8. Compliance and Regulations:

   • Ensure that all designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

   • Stay updated on the latest trends, materials, and technologies in the interior design and manufacturing industries.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

• 3+ years of professional experience in interior design, preferably within the interior manufacturing industry.

• Strong proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Revit, or equivalent).

• Excellent understanding of space planning, colour theory, and material selection.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with production teams.

• Strong leadership and project management skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

• Experience in high-end residential and commercial projects is a plus.
