Job Title: Civil Draughtsman
Job Summary:
A Civil Draughtsman is responsible for preparing detailed drawings, plans, and layouts for civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, drainage systems, buildings, and other infrastructure. They work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to convert technical specifications into accurate construction drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit).

Develop detailed construction and structural drawings based on engineering sketches and specifications.

Create layouts for infrastructure projects such as roads, stormwater systems, and buildings.

Revise and update drawings based on engineer or architect feedback.

Maintain project documentation, drawings, and revisions.

Ensure drawings comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and engineering standards.

Coordinate with project teams, site engineers, and contractors for on-site changes or design clarifications.

Support quantity estimation and bill of quantities (BOQ) preparation from drawings.

Conduct site visits to gather data and verify drawing accuracy when necessary.

Required Qualifications:
Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering or Draughtsman Civil course.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting/design software.

Basic knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methods.

Understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.

Experience with GIS or BIM tools is a plus (e.g., Autocad, Revit).
