Job Title: Design Engineer

Job Summary:

Responsible for creating, developing, and improving product designs using CAD tools, with a focus on performance, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability. Supports new product development and enhancements to existing designs in line with customer and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare 2D/3D drawings, diagrams, and schematics using CAD software (Solid-works).

Work on design tasks involving Simulation and Sheet Metal work.

Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM).

Analyze customer requirements, specifications, and propose design solutions.

Assist in prototype development, testing, and documentation.

Collaborate with departments like Manufacturing, Quality, Purchase, and Service.

Maintain accurate design documentation and update as needed.

Qualifications:

B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with 5–8 years of experience in product design and development.

Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Excel.

Working knowledge of Simulation, Routing, GD&T, BOM creation, Weldment and Sheet Metal.

Good communication, coordination, and time-management skills.

Familiarity ISO systems is an advantage.

Preferable skills: PDM.
