We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Designer with expertise in Fire Protection and Safety Systems. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D/3D drawings and layouts for fire hydrant, sprinkler, fire alarm, and other fire safety systems in compliance with industry standards and NFPA guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed AutoCAD drawings for fire hydrant, sprinkler, fire alarm, and detection systems.

Interpret design concepts, technical specifications, and consultant drawings into accurate layouts.

Coordinate with project engineers to finalize designs as per NFPA, NBC, IS codes, and local fire norms.

Update drawings as per site conditions, client feedback, and design revisions.

Ensure proper documentation, layering, and drawing management for easy reference.

Collaborate with site teams to provide design support during project execution.

Assist in material BOQ preparation from design drawings.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Fire & Safety Engineering or equivalent.

Proven experience in AutoCAD designing, preferably in fire protection systems.

Knowledge of NFPA, NBC, IS fire codes, and local authority requirements.

Strong skills in 2D drafting; knowledge of 3D and Revit/BIM will be an added advantage.

Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Detail-oriented with strong technical and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in fire hydrant, sprinkler, and fire alarm system design.

Knowledge of hydraulic calculations and pipe sizing will be a plus.

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
