Job Description – Accountant (Home Construction Industry)

Position: Accountant

Gender: Female

Age: 28 – 35 Years

Qualification: B.Com + M.Com

Software Skills: Tally (Mandatory)

Experience: 4 – 8 Years (preferably in Construction/Real Estate/Infrastructure industry)

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day accounting records and ensure proper documentation.

Handle accounts payable & receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation.

Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly closing reports.

Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax filings, and other statutory compliances.

Monitor project-wise expenses and prepare cost analysis for construction activities.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal departments for payment & billing processes.

Maintain petty cash and ensure timely vendor & employee reimbursements.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.

Good understanding of taxation, auditing, and compliance in construction sector.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail.
