We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with in-depth knowledge of GST regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring GST compliance, preparing financial statements, and supporting audits and taxation matters.
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting
Ensure timely and accurate GST filings including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation
Prepare and maintain books of accounts as per statutory requirements
Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions
Conduct reconciliations of bank statements, vendor accounts, and ledgers
Assist in statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits
Monitor TDS compliance, payment, and return filing
Provide support during tax assessments and scrutiny cases
Coordinate with external consultants, vendors, and government authorities as needed
Continuously monitor changes in GST laws and provide updates to the finance team
Strong command over GST laws, accounting standards, and Indian taxation
Excellent knowledge of Tally, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and MS Excel
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and team coordination abilities
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
Minimum 4–7 years of experience in accounting with strong exposure to GST compliance
Certification in GST or CA Inter (preferred, not mandatory)
Office-based role
May require extended hours during audits or return filing deadlines
Collaborative work with finance, operations, and external auditors
