Job Description:

We are looking for a Junior Accountant with a strong foundation in accounting principles and practical experience in day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting and taxation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and posting of vouchers (payment, receipt, journal, contra, etc.)

• Accurate and timely generation of E-Way Bills for transportation of goods.

• Preparation of Journal Entries and maintaining the general ledger.

• Assisting in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.

• Reconciling bank statements and vendor accounts.

• Handling basic GST entries and filing support (if applicable).

• Coordinating with the senior accountant or auditor during internal and external audits.

• Maintaining organized documentation and supporting files for accounting records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) – Mandatory

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting.

• Strong knowledge of voucher preparation, journal entries, and e-way bill generation.

• Proficiency in Tally ERP / accounting software.

• Good understanding of basic GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

• Ability to work independently with attention to detail.

• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with accounting software like Tally
