Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and take necessary follow-up actions.
Ensure accurate and timely invoicing to clients.
Contact clients via phone, email, and written correspondence to chase outstanding payments.
Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, payment commitments, and disputes.
Negotiate payment plans and ensure compliance with agreed terms.
Resolve customer queries and issues related to invoices and payments in coordination with the sales and accounts team.
Prepare debtor aging reports and present them to management on a regular basis.
Escalate problem accounts to senior management when necessary.
Review credit applications, conduct credit checks, and set appropriate credit limits.
Work with auditors and provide necessary support during financial audits.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and legal requirements.
Strong knowledge of credit control processes, accounting principles, and debtor management.
