Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Controller to manage the credit and collections activities of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing creditworthiness, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining healthy cash flow while fostering positive relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage the collection of outstanding invoices in a timely manner.

• Assess and evaluate credit data and financial statements of clients to determine credit limits.

• Maintain accurate records of all credit and collection activities.

• Develop and implement credit control policies and procedures.

• Liaise with internal departments (Sales, Customer Service) and external customers to resolve outstanding payment issues.

• Negotiate payment plans and ensure adherence to agreed terms.

• Prepare aging reports and provide regular updates to management.

• Initiate legal action or escalate problematic accounts when necessary.

• Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Proven experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar role.

• Strong understanding of credit risk, collection techniques, and financial analysis.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in credit management (e.g., CICM) is a plus.

• Experience in Acrylic industry preferred.

• Knowledge of ERP systems.
