Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Manager to oversee and manage the accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting operations, a basic understanding of export procedures and preparation of financial statements.

You will lead a team of 5 accounting staff and ensure smooth functioning of the accounts department.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Team Management:

Supervise a team of 5 accounting staff including cashier, invoicing personnel, banking assistant, export/accounts assistant, and general accounting assistants.

Supervising and ensuring smooth functioning of purchase accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts payable, billing, Banking operations.

·       Accounts, Finance and Taxation:

Finalization of Accounts

Coordination with Chartered Accountant for closing the books of accounts and for other requirements.

Cash Flow Management.

Handling end to end taxation task including GST return filing, TDS return filing and IT return with coordination with external CA.

·       Export Accounting:

Closing working with Export team for handling smooth shipping payments, credit and debtor control.

·       Audit & Compliance:

Coordinate with external CA for audits and financial reporting.

Ensure compliance with taxation and statutory regulations.

Acting as an Internal auditor for smooth accounting function like purchase audit, stock audit. Getting physical stock audit done by the team.

Bank Reconciliation and Stock Accounting etc

·       Process Improvement:

Support in refining accounting processes for better accuracy and transparency.

Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

·       Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in accounts management, preferably in a factory setup.

·       Experience working in a manufacturing/export firm shall be preferred.

·       Knowledge of GST, TDS and other compliance norms.

·       Basic knowledge of export accounting and shipping documentation.

·       Proven experience in leading a small team.

·       Familiarity with accounting software - tally and Microsoft Excel.

·       Strong analytical and communication skills.

·       Ability to coordinate with internal and external team.

·       Go getter and self-starter.
