Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency with accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, statements, and reports.

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.

• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Liaise with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.

• Monitor internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies.

• Provide financial data and analysis to management for decision-making.

• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s / CA / CMA preferred).

• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation laws.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
