Summary- Manager will be working on ALM, CMA data, Collection Efficiency, Portfolio Cut, KMP, Ratios etc.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Partnering & Strategic Control
Lead long-term and short-term financial strategy formulation.
Set up and maintain robust internal financial control mechanisms.
Serve as a key member for special projects: acquisitions, legal entity setup,
system/process enhancement.
Drive cost control, margin improvement, and profit optimization initiatives.
2. MIS, Budgeting & Reporting
Oversee the entire budgeting cycle and ensure cross-functional alignment.
Deliver timely and insightful monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.
Lead forecasting exercises aligned with business performance trends and market
conditions.
3. Monthly Reviews & Performance Analysis
Actively participate in monthly business reviews with the leadership, board, and
external stakeholders.
Present financial KPIs with relevant commentary and actionable insights.
4. Accounts, Audit & Taxation
Ensure timely and accurate monthly/quarterly/yearly financial closing.
Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits including transfer pricing compliance.
Monitor Direct & Indirect Tax compliances (TDS, GST, Income Tax).
5. Working Capital Management
Monitor receivables, payables, inventory, and optimize working capital cycle.
Improve credit control by overseeing collections, overdue management, and DSO
targets.
Negotiate credit terms with vendors and ensure cost-effective procurement.
6. Treasury; Cash Flow Management
Maintain optimal liquidity and manage cash flows efficiently.
Liaise with financial institutions for fund raising and working capital facilities.
Strategically invest surplus funds in secure and approved instruments.
7. Governance, Compliance & Risk
Ensure all financial operations are compliant with statutory laws including FEMA,
RBI, MSME, and Companies Act.
Enforce corporate and board-level financial policies and SOPs.
Maintain documentation, timely returns and ensure audit readiness.
Candidate Requirements:
Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent finance qualification
Experience: 8–15 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts,
preferably in NBFCs
Proven leadership in scaling finance operations, audits, working capital, and strategic
financial planning
Strong understanding of RBI regulations, GST, and corporate finance practices
