Job Summary-Accounts Manager
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager to manage day-to-day accounting and financial tasks for our construction business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction project costing, vendor billing, GST compliance, and financial reporting.
· Maintain books of accounts using [Tally / QuickBooks / ERP software]
· Record daily financial transactions, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
· Prepare and manage GST returns, TDS filings, and other statutory compliance
· Monitor project-wise costs and generate cost reports
· Handle vendor and subcontractor bills and ensure timely payments
· Maintain petty cash and project site expenses
· Assist in budgeting and forecasting for ongoing projects
· Liaise with auditors, banks, and tax consultants
· Prepare MIS reports and financial statements
· Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and internal policies
Key Skills Required:
· Proficiency in project costing, budgeting, and expense tracking.
· Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
· Experience with Tally ERP and advanced Excel functions.
· Ability to manage vendor bills, subcontractor payments, and site accounts.
· Accurate bookkeeping and financial reporting skills.
· Effective communication and coordination with project and finance teams.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (e.g., B.Com, BBA).
· M.Com or MBA (Finance) preferred for senior roles.
· Knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software is essential.
· Understanding of construction project accounting is an added advantage.
· Familiarity with GST, TDS, and Indian tax laws is mandatory.
· 5–10 years of relevant experience in the construction or infrastructure industry.
