Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries and ledgers
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Handle GST return filing, reconciliation (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2A), and input credit
Manage TDS calculation, payment, and filing
Ensure timely compliance with all statutory obligations (GST, TDS, PF, ESIC)
Manage billing, invoicing, and collections from clients/students
Conduct bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations
Support internal audits and coordinate with statutory auditors
Maintain payroll records and ensure proper tax/statutory deductions
Prepare and present MIS reports, budgets, and financial forecasts
Key Skills & Expertise:
Solid experience in GST compliance and return filing
Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and standard accounting tools
Thorough understanding of Indian accounting and taxation norms
Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Good communication and financial documentation skills
Experience Required:
Total Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in accounting roles
GST Experience: At least 2 years of practical GST filing and reconciliation
Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent
Industry Preference: Candidates with experience in the education or service sector will be preferred
