We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team at at Gnanam Engineering. The role involves managing financial transactions of the organization, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The position offers ₹10000 - ₹25000 and opportunities for professional growth.
Objectives:
To manage day-to-day accounting and accounts receivable operations by maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting the company’s cash flow through timely collections and reconciliations.
Roles & Responsibility:
1. Record all financial transactions (payments, receipts, sales, purchases, e-invoices, e-way bills) accurately to maintain up-to-date accounts.
2. Maintain and reconcile ledgers, vendor, and customer accounts regularly to ensure accuracy.
3. Update creditors and debtors list weekly for effective monitoring of dues.
4. File GSTR-1 and B2B returns within deadlines to ensure compliance.
5. Ensure all payments and collections are processed as per due dates to support cash flow.
6. Review sales orders and agreements, raise and send invoices on time with correct details.
7. Monitor and follow up on customer payments; send reminders for overdue accounts.
8. Reconcile customer receipts and make provisions for bad debts when required.
9. Verify subcontractor labour bills every Saturday to ensure accuracy and cost control.
