Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Responsibilities (Approx. 60-70%):
Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping, including data entry for invoices, receipts, and payments.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and spreadsheets.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as needed.
Support the senior accounting staff with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Verify financial transactions and documentation.
Assist with payroll processing and related documentation.
Maintain organized filing systems for all financial documents.
Adhere to company accounting policies and procedures.
Administrative Responsibilities (Approx. 30-40%):
Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
Order and maintain office supplies and equipment inventory.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
Support HR functions such as maintaining employee records and assisting with onboarding new employees (under guidance).
Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other documents.
Ensure the office environment is tidy and presentable.
Perform other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned to support overall office operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
